Yesterday I was delayed about fifteen minutes-- first my bus took a detour, then I walked the long way around, partly because I didn't know what the problem was. Turns out the Santa Monica mall, and surrounding blocks, had been cordoned off by police due to a bomb scare.No explosion, but rush hour traffic was adversely affected.
