Recently I sorrowfully discovered that they had finally changed the locks on the Caltech Mechanical Engineering building, and my fourteen-year-old key didn't let me in any longer.

This is especially too bad since I just got some spam email offering me some kind of mortgage refinance deal on the "Pasadena property" of my old Caltech office (more accurately, my Caltech mailbox).
