Update 2: I have taken the Volkswagen to Pacific Volkswagen in the hopes that they will fix the radio problem that Santa Monica Volkswagen could not fix and, I suspect, did not even investigate thoroughly.
I predict that Pacific will not be able to duplicate the problem either. However, when they call and tell me this, I will demand that they take out the radio and bench test it, or at least look for loose wires, the way any normal person would if faced with a broken radio.
