Maribeth says, "That isn't that funny."
I don't mind. I just thought it was interesting. Why does everything have to be funny? Let's shed our collective obsession with things being funny.
Maribeth says a better punchline would have been, "So why are condoms named Trojans?"
Isn't there a school cheer that goes,
"Two, four, six eight,
we know how to integrate!"
I'm just saying, you don't want your condoms fighting valiantly for a losing cause.
Haha, I like Maribeth's revised punchline.
Grace, I can't say that I have ever heard that cheer. MIT and Caltech are supposed to have mathematical cheers about e and pi and so forth, but I'm not sure I have really heard those either (as opposed to read about them).
Hillbillies rule.
I like the idea of the Athenians as a mascot and am disappointed that no university has chosen them. The University of Georgia is even located in Athens! Yet they went with Bulldogs instead???
