I'll take more than another riverful
Last night we won the pub quiz at O'Brien's, a victory all the sweeter since we beat out a team with both Brad Rutter and Jerome Vered. (In the Jeopardy Ultimate Tournament of Champions, Brad Rutter came first, Ken Jennings came second, and Jerome Vered came third. Brad Rutter has currently won more money on game shows than anyone else on planet Earth.)According to O'Brien's rules, the leading team must win by more than one-half point to avoid a tie-breaker question. We won by three-quarters of a point. Brad and Jerome had to use some of their game show millions to pay their own bar tab! This marked the fifth consecutive week that Maribeth had been on the winning team.
Afterwards Maribeth and I went out for coffee with Jerome.
